Why Bean & Barrel exists

Sara, Gillian, and Andrea Kelley opened in Highland Falls in January 2026.

The concept of Bean & Barrel was born from the desire to create a warm and inviting space in our community; a place where you want to gather with family, friends or colleagues to catch up, indulge with a delicious beverage, pastry or soup and enjoy the atmosphere.

Nicole DeLoi makes her Bean & Barrel debut with an acoustic set rooted in Americana, indie-folk, country and soul.

A longtime NY/NJ musician, music teacher and member of Owls & Lions, Nicole brings powerhouse vocals, acoustic guitar and a few originals alongside music from Brandi Carlile, Fleetwood Mac, Chris Stapleton, Noah Kahan, Bonnie Raitt, Ella Langley and more. Come hang, grab a drink, and catch her first night at Bean & Barrel.

  • What are your hours?

    Our full weekly hours are: Monday — 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday — 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday — 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday — 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday — 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Saturday — 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Sunday — 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

  • Is there a bar? Do you serve alcohol?

    Yes. We serve assorted wines, beer, and a few signature cocktails, including the Barrel Espresso Martini.

  • Do you have happy hour?

    Happy hour three days a week.

  • How far are you from West Point and Thayer Gate?

    About 0.3 miles — roughly 6–8 minutes on foot from our door at 447 Main St to the Thayer Gate visitor entrance. From the gate, walk south through the Highland Falls business district.

  • Can I work or study on-site?

    Yes. Tables and lounge seating include outlets at most seats. Stay as long as you need.

  • Dietary options?

    Oat and almond milks, plus a rotating decaf and single origins. See the menu for add-ons and build-your-own options.

  • Do you host private events?

    Yes. We would be glad to host showers, brunches, meetings, cocktail evenings, and small celebrations. Visit the events page for pricing guidance, then send an inquiry and we will help shape the details.
